PODCAST: Guided Breath Meditation

Today you have access to the first podcast that I’ve ever created!  I must say that the creation of the podcast was a little tedious for me, but totally worth it!  I even had to buy a fancy microphone and figure it all out.

I thought it would be a good idea to give you some information on the guided meditation podcast before you get started.  The voice you hear is me, Wanda, the creator of thehappybeacon.com

It is a sitting breath meditation.  It will be about 12 minutes in length.  Have a straight-back chair ready or if you prefer to sit on the floor, then grab a cushion to sit on.  And try to find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted.

Using headphones will give you the best experience, but you will still have a good experience without headphones.

For those who may be wondering, I tried having music in the background of the meditation.  But, I decided against it because it didn’t feel right for this particular meditation.  As you will experience soon, there are a couple of times when there is complete silence.  It is during these silent periods that you have the greatest opportunity for deeper meditation.  This silence is essential and having music during this time would be distracting.

Okay, that’s enough writing.  I hope you enjoy the meditation!  Click here to download my free guided breath meditation podcast (6.7MB) (to save to your computer, right click->save link as)
